What can anyone tell me about weaver K3-C3 scope? Came on a rifle that I recently purchased.

It's 50++ years old, and will probably be in service 50 years from now. If you are within 400 yards from your quarry, you will be able to shoot your quarry.
Nothing fancy about it. It just works. Lens coating is dated of course, but basically it's a highly functional, bullet-proof classic scope. I have several Weaver fixed power scopes ( 1.5x , 2.5x, 3x , and 4x. I like, and use them all without a hitch.)
To me, simpler is better. Enjoy iy.

I have one sitting on a safe top that survived many 250gr partitions at 2800 fps from a 358 Norma Mag as well as 220gr Speers at 2175 fps from a Marlin lever action 35 Remington, tough little scope, thinking about putting it on a fully rifled 870 20 gauge slug gun, i think it'll handle that job with ease.

The one I bought at a gun show for $30 is still going strong. It started life on a 308, got moved to a 338, moved again to a 375 and is currently the back up scope for that rifle. My only knock against it would be the glass is not super great.
