I wanted to make sure I got the spine and the lungs. So I held slightly high. Had a I held low I would not have got the spine and he wouldn't have dropped straight down. I had no desire to have to track him and knew I would lose sight of where he was while walking over.

Yes, you had me going on that one also until you described the bullet track. I have killed blacks for meat, never for the hide.
