This hurts to post...
I took my brother in law out hunting in CO unit 15 this weekend and all signs are pointing to me leaving my spotting scope standing on the tripod right next to the truck.
I had been using it right next to the truck, then had to spend a few minutes to rearrange all of our gear in the back seat for the drive home. I can't believe I would have forgotten to load it up, but it's 100% not in my truck and 100% not at my house. Drove up there last night as soon as I realized what I had done and it appears it was scooped up.
I know it's nearly impossible odds, but if anyone on here happened to find a spotting scope on a tripod in unit 15 this weekend, I can provide exact details of the spotter, the location, and the time. Gonna really sting to have to replace it, but shame on me for forgetting it there in the first place.

Yeah it has to be a different one than the one you found there .... I mean , what are the odds right? SB2017- hope you get it back- would make for a good story. Don't feel too bad - human. Years back was at a range where a guy had just come from picking up his second Cooper rifle- as i recall him telling a few folks. Gorgeous thing, I was in absolute awe of seeing one in person at the time. He did seem sort of a jack wagon - and (not that I blame him for this ) but I remember him getting completely bent when it wouldn't fire. Someone asked if he needed help which made him more upset . He cussed and threw all his stuff in his truck and headed back to the store in no small hurry. Without his unfired Cooper rifle still laying on the bench. Myself- I have gone to the range to find I left my spotter or rest or even one time all my loads on my reloading bench at home. Like a twenty five minute drive cussing myself as the dumbest effer on the planet. Happens - hoping you get yours back. Think most here would try to find ya.
