Nice fall day here today, but an "atmospheric river" is forecast to hit us tonight in the PNW.
Sounds like we're in for a sloppy wet mess the next few days. Hope last year's burns in the mountain ranges can handle it without too many slides.

Absolutely!
I blew a gasket in my whole house filter tonight, with water under high pressure spewing out everywhere.
The good news was I happened to be in the basement at the time and heard the bang, ran a few steps to see the flood of water coming out, and raced to the the water main switchoff and shut it down. All within about 30 seconds. Mebbe less.
We got no water at the moment, but....crisis averted!
And I can prolly fix it without professional help.
So yeah, good news! Woot woot!!!!!
