I remember your rig from another forum about 7-8 years ago. I feel like it slipped through MY fingers when I couldn't buy it! A perfectly executed trail rig, and the specs and the photos left a permanent file in my brain.

Not my rig. I Almost bought it. You can see the impact it left I me I still have all the pics of it. Even went to see and drive it. Three kids in private school at the time and still smarting from the recession.

Those and VW buses. If I knew now what I didn’t know then (late 80s-90s) I would have bought them all.

Forgot about IH Scout's. They've been a thing for quite a while, but here of late they're quite golden as well.

Yes, I'd spend the money on that rather than any new vehicle.

I've got a friend that is having a '68 Bronco rebuilt. They were hoping to make the SEMA show this fall, but didn't. Estimated value when finished will be above 200K.

I'm going to have to agree with you here. My best friend had a '77 K5 Blazer that we rode back and forth to high school in - it too was a POS.

What were the Cadillacs & Continentals of the 70's ?

These ^^ were.

Jeeps, Scouts, Blazers, Broncos, & Ramchargers were all, top heavy, short wheelbase, rough riding, gas guzzling, uninsulated 4x4's that were low on power. Suffering on quickly increasing gov't smog rules.

How could y'all single out any one brand here?

And it won't throw a code and put the engine into LIMP mode when the oil gets condensation in it in winter.
