I know the Montana residents are laughing at us and thinking "you can shoot those elk from the roads, thanks for kicking elk out of the mountains for us." Which I know is true, I've had a few drinks in the bars in MT. As a Montana resident, I can assure you most of the experts pontificating on a bar stool here know next to nothing about actual elk hunting. Elk killing perhaps, but not real elk hunting. You guys did it right, and it's not an easy thing to do to showing up from out of state and getting it done in proper fashion. Good on ya! Thanks! How do you guys like those Marsupial gear bino packs? We all like them. Pretty handy

Nice work bud, thanks for sharin.
Ping pong balls for the win. Once you've wrestled everything else in life is easy. Dan Gable I keep my circle small, I’d rather have 4 quarters than 100 pennies.
Ain’t easy havin pals.

Were you there for the Opening Day Zoo or did you arrive a little later?
We didn’t have a lick of snow opening day.
I probably hit more elk with a pickup than you have with a rifle. I have yet to see anyone claim Leupold has never had to fix an optic. I know I have sent a few back. 2 MK 6s, a VX-6, and 3 VX-111s.

We didn’t have a lick of snow opening day. There was snow in the Gallatin’s opening day. My tent was pitched in a good settled 6” of snow.

Awesome trip. The time spent with good friends outdoors is enough for me but putting food in the freezer makes a trip like that even better!
Those trips are the ones you’ll remember for the rest of your life. Nice job you guys. 👍
