My fence-line neighbor, whom I've known for 60+ years, is losing his daughter to cancer.
Rachel has been fighting it for 23 years, and is under 50 years old.
She'll leave a husband and adopted son.
David lost his twin brother, Dale, 2 days before last Christmas - Dale's wife passed just about the same time - both from Covid.
This Christmas is looking bleak for David and his 2nd wife. Kathy asked me for prayers that Rachel makes it into next year, and that her passing is as painless as possible.
