We had 2012 F-150 4 door 60k, 2019 F-150 4 door, 50k, Took both to dealer we bought from. Came home with a 2021 F-150 xlt 200mi 4-door. Both trucks and 5k. No more truck payment. And only need one truck and still have a car. Retired you know.

Crazy times for sure.

I put a one tooth smaller counter sprocket on my '83 Honda CT110 (the one with the big rack on the back) and the rear tire adjustment was too close to the end of the swing arm, so I took it in to the dealer to take a couple of chain links out and the service guy practically drooled all over it. He said he wants to buy it and I told him to get in line. Then he said he'll out bid anyone for it. Best I chain that one down. What a neat little bike to replace walking the trails up north. These old one's stock went way up when Honda didn't put the dual range transmission in the new 125 version. A neighbor up north uses his electric bike instead of his Yamaha TW200 and said that he is thinking of selling that one. Another high demand bike.

My other auto is a .45

5-6 years ago dealers had 3-4 year old TW200's that hadn't sold , sitting crated up in the back . Now they have 1 year waiting list on many small bikes . This stuff started before the covid BS .

I did the deal and got a new Road Glide out of the process - at MSRP.

3 weeks later their truck and trailer showed up at my house (60 miles away) - dropped off the new bike, picked up my old. Sold off their floor in a week.

That's crazy.

The new ride. Probably my last bike. Does everything I need.

For the budget minded, the Honda 2022 Navi. 109cc, single cylinder, automatic CVT transmission - no clutch, no neutral, just twist the throttle and go. EPA mileage is 110 mpg. That black thing where the engine is normally located is a removable storage container.

MSRP of $1,807 + $200 destination charge. (Street price for the seven to be available in the entire USA is estimated at around $4500... whistle )

Why are people wanting small bikes? Gas mileage?

Gas mileage, lower prices, maybe it fits well with their 6.5 CM. wink

Last year I replaced a 2017 Yamaha FZ07 (689 cc) sport bike with a "new old stock" 2017 Suzuki TU250X air cooled single and gotta say I love this TUX. The Yamaha was a super refined machine capable of very quickly taking me way beyond my skill level. The TUX is a throwback retro style with only 15 hp but it's extremely nimble and very easy to ride. You could get in trouble with it but you'd really have to try. Mostly it's just a huge amount of fun.

I get 43 mpg with that 114 cu Milwaukee 8 and I like to hear the exhaust bark at RPM - sure I could get better if I drove like an old man.

Not that I bought it to save gas but it would never occur to me to get a smaller motorcycle to save on gas over a larger one.
