Mother's family lore had a Rogers ancestor on the Mayflower.

My Paternal line was not on the Mayflower, but but arrived just a few years later.
It's claimed I have ancestors on the maternal side who were on the Mayflower, but I have yet to see a sufficiently convincing geology to support that claim.

My wife’s through her paternal grandmother. There was a kid the fell overboard somewhere along the way and was rescued is the story that has been passed down.

My Father's mother's family is Rogers. Here before the revolution, Virginia, and Carolinas.

Degory Priest, 11th Great grandfather, died two months after signing the Mayflower Compact.

Isaac Allerton, 12th Great Uncle.

Ancestors on the Mayflower on one side, and ancestors on the other side here to meet the Jamestown colonists.

My brother traced out our ancestors , there was a little baby whose parents died on the way over. Turns out she was one of our ancestors. I'm a Canuck so it doesn't mean much except for giggles.

Ancestor on one side invented beer.
Ancestor on the other side discovered fire.

It was recorded in the family bible.

Descendant of Eduardo Doty, an indentured servant. Noted as being the first person placed in the stocks. Explains a lot on that side of the family.

Not on the Mayflower. A little bit later, in 1683, John Nesmith from Scotland on the ship Exchange, as an indentured servant for a four year term. Landed at Perth Amboy, New Jersey.

John Tilley through his daughter Elisabeth who married John Howland. Howland was swept overboard during the voyage as a young man during a storm, but was saved via a rope thrown to him.

My maternal grandmother was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
