I'm in the market for a lightweight, quasi-mountain style gun. Something in 6.5 PRC or .280 AI. I have a 10ish pound 6.5 PRC but I'd like to have an 8 lb set-up.

And I'm hoping for a new shotgun by spring.

I want a rimfire and a centerfire suppressor. I have a serious itch to get an upper for a .300 HAM'R also.
I already have a .300 Weatherby on a M-70 action to develop and a Kimber Hunter I haven't finished. I'm good otherwisefor long guns.
I am waiting for Brownell's to tell me the Hi-Powers ae in..

I will be adding a O/U to the stable for waterfowl. Looking at either a Browning 725 or a Rizzini round body. Just thinking through 20 vs 12.

Don't know anything about the 31s but I have had 3 model 12s so I don't disagree with you.

I have M31’s, M37’s, and M12’s. My favorite is the M31’s.

They are just about the perfect pump action shotgun in my opinion.

I handled a waypoint in 6.5prc. Pretty sweet gun, even at 2k

I have been wanting a Ruger American in 7-08. I see that Sportman's has a compact on sale right now. I need to let the wife know that's what I want for Christmas.

I want a Ruger 5.7 in the worst way. Problem is no gunshops around me for over 60 miles. Oh well. Cheaper that way

I just received the mounts but optic not yet mounted. A short Rem 700 basis so trigger, scope mounts/bases and bottom metal can interchange. Mine is the carbon fiber barreled version. A nice 2# trigger. Meant to compete with the Voodoo's at a third of the price. We shall see.
