Looked at one dated Jan 2019.
Pretty close to unfired. Slide release was very stiff but started to loosen up with a little repetition.

I think that SIG had incorporated their upgrades by then, but I'm not up on it by any means.

Can anyone tell me what to look for/beware of and what I might want to upgrade if I buy it?

Thanks!

Sig, I would check recoil spring and barrel/locking lug. Don't think you'll have any issues. I would buy a couple more recoil springs as that is a wear item on any semi auto. Most I know like the 365 a lot.

Thanks Esox.

Spring seems fine to me.
Check the lug for what exactly?

There was a bad batch of strikers supplied to Sig, and they revised the striker in June 2019.

Might wanna call em and see if they'll send ya a new style striker.

Will do.

Ive been intrigued by them since they hit the market.
I'm not really a fan of the pocket gun concept, but I certainly recognize its practicality.
The P365 was the first mini gun that appealed to me in that role, but I was put off by reports of mechaical issues.
I think that I'm going to give this one a try.

Well, the 365 ran me 375 + tax and came with 2tens and an extra twelve. I'll give it shakedown. Once I have it in hand.

Good price. I sorta paid more, but had enough Cabelas points such that I really didn’t. I like mine.

There were some issues early on that were reportedly fixed. You may want to research that and make sure you’re getting a recent one.

DF - this one is the 66A34xxxx range, which I believe is Jan 2019 or later. Which should make it post-updates.

Like most used guns, I have high hopes and tempered expectations.

Good deal. Mine shoots about as well as larger, all steel 9mm guns, like my Hi Power and full sized Springfield 1911.

It's pretty impressive for it's size, impressive for about any size.

I hope so. I carried an L frame .44 special for a while, and occasionally an N frame in the same caliber.
I don't feel that I need a lot of ammo, but I DO want something reliable and effective. That was my solution.

But autos & ammo have come a long way. My autos run very reliably these days.
And I don't call 9mm ".380 magnum" anymore because it has evolved well.
I would prefer a .45 or a .40 but not in something like the P365!
I'll save the big stuff for winter. If this runs well it will probably end up as an EDC for 3/4 of the year.

Modern 9mm ammo gives the old round new respect.

Took it home today.
Seems to only have had a box or so through it, looks essentially new inside and out.
Slide release is stiffer than I remember. Too stiff, IMO.
I'll have to see how it wears in after a few boxes.
Even found two more new 10 round OEM mags in the mystery box, they came home with me too.
Front night sight insert is dead (like so many I've read about), both rears seem fine.
I'll call SIG tomorrow, they should make it right.

Glad I spotted it. Thanks for all the replies.

You’ll like it.

If you get to needing more mags,

Academy sports has em for $40 / 12 rd. You can order online if not local.

Also Osage County Guns has good prices.

Yep. And Yep. I carry mine with a 12 round mag in it.
Fits my hand better.

I had a P365, didn't like the hard slide release or the hard to load magazines. I traded it for a P239 that I like much better.
