Still wish I would have bought when a friend told me to. It was around $300 then. He went all in and is now worth over $200 million. He's been living very well the last 3-4 years.

He had worked the same job at Intel since he got his electronics certificate at ISU at age 20 in about 93. We grew up together and ran around and got in trouble through JR High and high school. He called me out of the Blue around about 2015 I think. He begged me to buy bitcoin. He had converted his entire retirement from over 20 years at Intel to bitcoin and was even getting his paychecks in bitcoin. He also flew to Iceland and bought a bitcoin mining outfit. He really went all in and is still holding most of it. He hasn't bought a new house or flashed it around yet but he quit work and takes a lot of expensive trips with his family. I keep telling him to cash a little out along the way and diversify a bit.

My wife was in board and said she was OK with me buying $10,000 worth back then to start. I got looking into it and started worrying about loosing thumb drives or my computer going down or getting hacked. I didn't realize I could print the codes hard copy and put them in the safe or I would have probably done it. Just another on the list of should haves. I'm glad to see my friend is doing well with it. He's a good man and had just lost a teenage son and had been though some hard times.

There was a time conservatives didnt think cars, trains or planes would become common.

Cars got stuck. Couldn't travel off roads like a horse. Planes fell from the sky and people die. Electricity was dangerous. It would kill yiu or burn your house down.
