They just opened the doors this weekend. The cops were footbeat cops in the area they patrol.

Some people shouldn’t start businesses.

No kidding. And rightfully so. Everything woke turns to schit and even San Francisco libtards are calling out the restaurant owners.

Helluva way to run a business. Link to yelp reviews

Don't Californians have to steal upwards of $950.00 value to rise above petty theft? Under $50.00 is an infraction...

They will be broke and out of business in a month...

And they apparently don't know you need to be armed off duty as well...

Their restaurant, their rules. I wouldn't eat there.

There are some. For many many years, the Los Angeles Sheriff's Dept. required off duty deputies to always be armed. A lot of deputies bitched about it over the years because they "carried a gun all day long and did not want to carry one off-duty." So sometime around 1980 +/- (?), the policy was changed. The requirement was dropped.

Instead, the Department sent out the memo that even though deputies no longer had to carry a weapon off duty, it was highly recommended that they still carry. So some did, some didn't.

I do not know about LAPD's policy. Might be the same. (??)

FWIW.

I'd love for someone to go in, order a meal, eat it, then refuse to pay or leave. What are they going to do, call the cops?

Perfect. Don't call when you're burglarized.

Well now..... I wish them well but, after they are robbed and or burglarized, I guess they will need to call and have the folks with guns that they are uncomfortable with in their business to investigate the crime. If they are truly uncomfortable they will not call and then complain about the lack of police protection??? Have a nice day!

And when (not if) that place calls for the police due to (whatever) circumstance, I pray those officers are on a donut break...with their radios off..
