Floyd, but I'm also a big fan of MK. He sure can bend them strings.

Solid Floyd fan here.
VIDEO
I've watched that concert more than once, VHS and DVD when it came out. Great show. Was a big Floyd fan back in the day, just don't listen to them much any more even though I have all their music. Same with Zeppelin. Got to be in a certain mood. And pretty drunk.

Whatever you said...everyone knows you are a lying jerk.
That's a bold assertion. Point out where you think I lied.

One of the great lyricists of our time. But he kind of turned into a whiny bitch. My favorite albums were post-
Umma Gumma and pre-
The Wall .

"Money for Nothing" pretty much proved that the inspiration for that song was dead on. Far and away the most worthless song Dire Straits ever produced.
Other than that, their body of work is very solid. Well above average. But not as good as Floyd. In my mind, not even very close. There's a reason why Dark Side of the Moon has spent the most time in the Billboard top 200 albums list....

Pink Floyd and Dire Straights aren't in the same category..... both good , but Pink Floyd is iconic

Not a fair choice IMO. Totally different. Both rock. When I’min the mood I don’t listen to mark. When I’m not in the mood I jam to Mark.

Would have to say pink most of the time but Dire has some good stuff. I guess depends on what mood i am in.
