Has anyone seen any of these sold lately? I saw 2 on GB that went for 1200 and neither was original. One was D&T on waffle top and the other had a bad fitting butt plate. I have 6 of them that I am going to sell. I have 1 32 spl. 2 ea 30-30's and 3 ea 35 Rems. one of them being a SD -Sporting deluxe. I will be taking them to a gun show this weekend thats close to home. Four of the guns have the Bishop stocks which is basically a monte carlo to get head up to see through scope. These four are all D&T from factory for scope. I believe the one 30-30 and 32 Spl are both 1950 guns which have regular stocks. According to the Marlin Brophy book only 5000 out of 40,000 336's were deluxes made betweem 1948 and 1963. Has anyone seen any change hands in the last year or so?

I don't know about a deluxe, but I just purchased an all original, unmolested 1950 336A in 35 Rem for $425, which included a new box of Hornady Levolution ammo. I am sure I can sell it for at least twice what paid for it.

Saw a original deluxe 336A DL in 30-30 0n G-B 3 weeks ago and it ended up $2400 + Tax. It was a nice rifle. There was one on GunsInternational for $2400 but it disappeared. It also was a nice original rifle.

I have seen one change hands in the past year or so. Went from a dealer to me and I made out like a bandit, so my price is of no value. They are pretty neat though. Mine is in .35 Remington.

Gunbroker value and gun show value can be two very different things. Prices paid locally from people who do not know guns is an entirely different non-market estimate of value. I'd say at least $1,000 on GB.

The last original very nice 336 ADL in 30-30 brought $2400 + taxes and shipping on G-B. I watched it as I was interested but was too pricey for me mainly because I already have 6 deluxe rifles and one carbine deluxe which would be a SD model. Not sure why I need so many but being scarce and a quality rifle makes me want more.

I have a nice 336 ADL in 32 Winchester Special. Y’all think it’s worth 1-2k?

What about the value of a 1973 336A in 35 Rem?
Thanks, Dinny

Local shop sold a 1952 336 A, for $1000, a couple of months ago. It was pretty clean, and had been drilled and tapped, with a cheap scope on it.
