Ha Ha Ha !
Since when did border jumpers need an excuse to
pop off fireworks, or choot in de aire ?

Unfortunately, it hardly phases me anymore.
I just have to trust in the Lord to steer any projectiles
away from here. Current truck hood has a fairly deep
bullet ding in it. When there was a Mercury out in the
driveway some years back, one of the border jumpers
stray projectiles drilled a hole through a section of the
decklid and a section of expensive red plastic reflector
and rattled around inside the structure where the latch
mounts . Good thing none of those incidences struck
somebody's bare head.
Another week will start the real random gunfire
holiday. I managed to get last year's on a video
when I'd borrowed a camera. There was a couple
of my acquaintances that didn't believe the local
hood rats choot sheen guns in de aire on choo- lie
de fort and on de happy anyo new-wave-oh

I've been hearing lots of gunfire in the neighborhood today. I assumed someone got a gun for Christmas.

Same here. They blast Mariachi music constantly, and fireworks every excuse.
