Here's a couple more.

Blade is leaf spring, guard was a piece of Damascus left over that I thought would be neat, but the layers didn't show show wast of time lol. Stacked leather an antler pommel. This is my favorite knife I've made so far overall. Light, and tough and the handle just feels damn good. I'll make a horizontal sheath to carry at waist level. Might make it onto my pyre lol

An axe for a BD present for a buddy's brother

A paring knife to match kitchen knives from a previous order. Just a piece of 1095 forged out, kinda boring but still cool, as it matches the set he's building.

Here's one I just finished. Buddy found this old spring (no idea from what or it's age but it's pretty old whatever it came from) and gave it to me awhile back for possible blade material. Week or so ago he tossed a piece of root at me and asked if it would work for handle scales. No idea what tree it came from, or how long it had been cut. Was completely dry though, and heavy enough it had some density. I'd never used a root for material before, so I told him I'd give it a whirl, but no promises. I asked him what he wanted for a knife, and he sent me a pic he sketched out. lolol

That came out great, and another cool personal story behind it.

Thanks guys. The materials came from his family’s property, kinda sentimental for my buddy.
