I cherish the memories from back when I was a kid of the annual trips to K-Mart for a box of ammo and a new blaze orange stocking hat. Was that the annual one box of ammo trip? Lol No. That was her whole fugking life.

Had a guy who wanted to return a Buck General, yeah one of the Sharon Tate commemoratives, as he said he was told it was a "gutless" knife when he bought it (whatever that is)……. Apparently it didn’t work out too well for him on his weekend hunt.

Lol had a guy come in and ask about a guthook knife. But he pronounced it "gut-thook" and I think he missed the whole point lol

Had an engineer no less that worked in our Chester, VA location wife gave him a Remington 700 package rifle for a gift and had the scope mounted and boresighted by the store. He killed 2 deer with it and went back to the same store for another box of 270 shells and check the boresighting. Was shocked when the clerk gave him a box of 30-06 shells for his 30-06

It’s hard to figure everyone out
Could be several things. Like inheritance titty baby “Cody” getting grampie’s 270 at Christmas....big family dinner...gramps says hey I wanna give you this, since my leg rotted off 30 years ago I just been mouthin off on an innanet forum, figured it’s time to pass it on.
And since the last few rounds he had for it got sold in that mouse pee soaked hunting vest at the Junk for Jesus yard sale...Cody is calling you Hahahah, oh [bleep].  That reads like a Patrick McManus story.

How many scopes you seen mounted backwards? Only one so far. Mostly we mount them on the package guns we get in. I have seen some where the turrets are one to the left and one straight up though...

Yeah seen lots of those. Remember another one that came in. 700 Rem. This was over 30 years back. Stock busted in two at the wrist. With blood and deer hair all crammed between magazine opening and bottom of scope.

Some folks just don’t realize what’s going on right now.
Buddy of mine txt me a couple weeks back...
His coworker was looking for some 6.5 cm for his kids to hunt with.
I’ve switched to 6.5 prc so ive got a good reserve.
Any gave the guy a couple boxes.
How much? It’s for you kid, you have have it.
We went back and forth and finally he put some cash in my hand.
I put that money in the toy drive at work. Pay it forward.
Some folks have other chit going on in life to have cases of ammo stocked up. And do wait to the last minute.
Years last, it wasn’t a big deal.

Every time we go from bow to rifle to muzzleloader etc, the store I work at gets a minimum of 100 calls. "Hey you guys got slugs/209 primers/broadheads/22/223/black powder etc?"
A few days before the season. And you have guns sitting at your house with zero ammo for them. And you call us and act pissed off that we are sold out from the normal humans buying things when they need them.
Am I being a dick or are there this many retards out there who think they can just go buy stuff the day before the season and not sight in and somehow fill their tag and then not buy a damn box of ammo for another year?
