How do you store water in the truck when its below zero? No, seriously, how do you do it? Mix it 50/50 with vodka.

That photo doesn't show hardly any snow at all. So what's blocking the traffic?
They had about a foot of snow and a handful of tractor trailers and cars got tangled up which stopped traffic. It was snowing at a pretty good clip and a bunch more vehicles got stuck. After several hours, a bunch of dipschits abandoned their cars which clogged things up worse. What's stupid about the whole thing is that the tow trucks couldn't clean things up during the day. That's what I don't understand. Then overnight, the temps went down into the teens and that schit froze solid. I couldn't believe that they hadn't cleaned it up by this morning. Where are those guys from Highway to Hell when you need them. I just read that they had a lot of rain and then it quickly turned to snow and froze. They can't spray icemelt in the rain and when it froze, it screwed up the traffic so fast that the spray trucks couldn't get out there.

Just got off the phone with a friend in Stafford... 14" at his house. No power this week probably. Checking on a few other friends in that zone.
Dan and his son had to run out for fuel earlier today (generator).
He words... not mine. "I didn't see a single service truck VDOT or Dominion Power anywhere". "Private companies like Walmart, Target and Geico had clear parking lots from private sector plow drivers, but the state roads and service trucks were not seen anywhere... it was crazy." "Trees down everywhere and power-lines are a mess".
If it weren't for a few friends in the area... I would find this FUBAR situation damn comical.
14" of snow is nothing, but without anyone that GAF... it apparently is a real mess. Who knows anymore.

The climate crisis collides with the infrastructure crisis in the middle of a pandemic fueled by mass hysteria over a cold.

How much gas would a medium sized car or truck use in an hour sitting in traffic with the engine and heater running?

Found the answer, a smallish 4 cylinder roughly .33 gallon per hour. Adjust the useage upwards as engine size increases.
