Would you make an investment in a future collectible (not sure where value is anymore in the rifle world) or grab something newly released after the ShotShow?

I have less than zero gaps in my arsenal but am looking for a Tikka fast twist 22-250 or short barrel compact to cruise the woods with

Just curious - tossed out $1200 thinking it would be a good start - not a hard line.

I’d buy another L-61 Sako. I know it wouldn’t be new but I sure like them.

I have a couple of Tikkas, including a fast twist 22-250, love them. if i needed to spend 1200 bucks right now it would probably be a superlight in 7RM and scope

I'd be looking for a kimber in any configuration, or a model 70 featherweight.

Good call! I’ve got several AV models but have always wanted an L61 with the famous Bofors (sp?) barrel. I still see them here & there but if a 25-06 turned up I may be unable to resist

CVA Cascade in 308. It wouldn’t be for hunting though, I want it for shooting cast bullets. CVA Cascade has become my favorite centerfire, I have two and want more.

Tell me more about these - they are super compact no?

Why lead bullets? Is it a hobby or something about the rifle that lends itself to them?

I'm gunned up. Don't need anything but always looking. Losing interest in starting over with something new.

$1200 should buy you a pretty nice pre-'64 Model 70 Featherweight.
