I need a 22 barrel cut and threaded. Any recommendations for someone in the central part of the country?

Does the barrel need to be removed for threading?

Not from the receiver. I put the barreled action through the spindle bore of the lathe and then indicate the bore concentric before threading.

Thanks. That's what I thought as long as the tailstock (?) is short enough.

GA Precision in NKC MO perhaps. You'll have to ask. Be Well, RZ.

No, I believe you're thinking of threading while turning between centers, kind of. I thread with the muzzle only protruding from the chuck, where the back can be pivoted around in a spider and the bore indicated concentric so if a person uses a suppressor, they won't strike a baffel.
