I’ve been very happy with my 1:8 22-250 built by Beanland. 22” and about the perfect walking varminter. 70 grain Berger

I’d lean towards 22 Creedmoor, but would prefer what I could find reloading components for!

22-250 AI is a kissing cousin to the 22 CM performance wise. Since you can most likely find std 22-250 brass easier than 22 CM might be a good option. Shoot FF loads with lighter bullets and enjoy blowing up some vermin!?!!??

Another option that gives you 90-95% of the performance and more barrel life would be a 22GT. Friends and myself have about 5 of them and case capacity is within a grain or grain and a half of the std 22-250 but a way better design (IMO) with sharper shoulder and less body taper. A little more than a 22 Dasher but feeding in repeater is better. We really like ours.

The bane of the 22 250 is case stretching, but this can be overcome quite easily by using collet dies, but if I was starting again I definitely go for the Creedmoor

I shoot Fast Twist Customs in every chambering thus far cited(excepting the Gay Tiger) and more than a few that ain't,though in "fairness" only (4) 224 Speedmires. Hint.

As 22-250 proper goes,I never cared for the SALAMI version, though my 7" RPM Rock is a fhuqking HAMMER. With Lapooey brass,.003" bushing constriction and no expander ball, stretching ain't a fret. Hint.

I'd pass on Wilson and wouldn't want a #4 in an Outlander, though in fairness,I've not put a new Custom in a new Outlander but only once so far this week. 9" RPM Lilja MR contoured 20" 17 Rem,BDL,6x MQ,yada, yada, yada. Hint.

Prolly have a 7" RPM Bart' chambered 22 PPC AFI in one too and well shy of #4. Hint.

Likely have a 7" RPM Bart' 224 Speedmire in one too and well shy of #4. Hint.

'Course there's a few others too,but the Teeker 8" 22-250 intrigues. Hint. Fhuqking LAUGHING!

7.7" RPM Krieger 22-250AI. Hint.

The 224 Speedmire launching 88's at 3200fps+ is where it's at,not that these Bumbling Fhuqk Shows ain't funnier than fhuqk! Hint.

Just sayin'.

Thank me later.

You've been led to water.

Laughing!.................

What are the specs on your 22 GT rifle? I don't know anything about those and they sound interesting. What brass are you using? Powder? How are you feeding them - aics mags?
