Some of the original T-Bolts are the infamous "salt guns". Good to check before buying.

Dukxdog: No signs of saltiness - did check the first time I looked this Rifle over.
Thanks for reminding us all.

My 1966 T-Bolt (Deluxe) was a salt gun that was sent back to Browning for restoration. It came back in new condition and the person who had it before me then just put it away. It's unblemished and looks and shoots very well.

FYI, with the location of the safety on the Belgian T-Bolt, one needs to mount their scope with either medium or high rings to have room for your thumb to easily access it. I initially had low rings on mine as my scope is a Clearidge 3-9X32. That didn't leave enough room for my thumb to quickly and easily flick the safety off. For my skinny thumbs a set of medium tip-off rings works well. Those with chubby thumbs might need high rings.
