This may have been asked before but here goes: This applies to XTR Featherweight stocks and Red Pad Classics too. Are the stocks interchangeable from Long Action to Short Action ?

No. Exception may be the early xtr which were all built on a long action. I don’t have any to check for you.

Then STFU. The rest of your statement is superflous bullshit with no real bearing on this discussion other than to massage your own ego. Suckin' on my titties like you wanted me.

Thanks AK. The only reason I asked is I have the opportunity to purchase an XTR FWT Red Pad stock which I think is for a Short Action. It measures 7” from screw hole to screw hole which I believe is for a Short Action XTR FWT. I measured my long action XTR Featherweights and they all measure 7 5/8” from hold to hole. ONE LAST QUESTION: Are all the 1980’s Short Action & Long Action XTR FWT’s 2 piece bottoms? I think the 1 piece bottoms came later in the 1990’s.
