I like my Ruger American .308. It is a hard cartridge to beat. It is boringly reliable. I rarely shoot mine anymore, in lieu of some of my other rifles, but with a 150 Hornady, it smucks deer very well. My buddy has a couple of TC Ventures in Creed and they are now his go-to rifles. Incredibly accurate with factory ammo.
