I'm blessed to have traveled around our great country. When asked about the west, my synopsis is "stunningly beautiful".

You need to take your retired wife to north Idaho. We'll keep the hot tub lit...

No nose, real wide. You sit on thge very outside edge of the vehicle.
It feels like you are literally on the lines.

I was up front, feet on the dash. BS'ing with my co-driver.
The road was under construction, and one lane, the right one.
I said something to him, turned and looked out the window.
Realized I hadn't seen the ground, looked back, then looked down.
And almost Shïts my pants. I hollered, and scared him, he jerked the
wheel a bit, and I damn near did dirty myself th at time.

I got him back coming out of Salt River Canyon. Had hit the bottom and was
climbing the far side, I got him up and told him to look out the window as
I put the truck up to the guard rails. That time he was hollering. He thought
I was gawking and running off the road.

Sept of '18 we had an OTD trucker 'miss the bridge' and meet his fate at the bottom of Eagle Canyon

Not sure how he did it...but he completely crossed the canyon..from west facing cliff in pic #1

He had to have going 100+ mph...hauling almond milk & headed west...canyon stunk for a week

They really did a good clean up job...a crane was used from bridge deck to remove the big pieces
