I have that problem. Keep some benedryl around. My problem seems to be gradually getting better . Keep the faith. After a cure is found for Cancer, & VD, we'll get some help !!!
I was the first person the Military ever gave this test too. They didn’t know what it was until I showed them an article. It resolved itself within 3 years.
The leaner the red meat, the sicker I was. The way it effected me was made me have flu symptoms within 45 minutes that lasted 4 hours. I didn’t have the allergy type symptoms.
It was my dad that sent me the article link. A piece of backstrap would put me down.
I could still do some pork and beef hamburger meat to some degree but any lean red meat cut, beef, deer, elk, bison, would screw me.
I got it. Pork is the worst for me. Emu and ostrich are excellent but its expensive. Finned and feathered creatures is all i eat. Dairy doesnt bother me much. Was always taught to eat what you kill so I give my deer to Hunters for the Hungry so someone that needs the protein and cant afford it can enjoy it. I am slowly trying to eat some mammal but its scary as crap.I break out i hives about 4-6 hrs after I eat it and usually thats in the middle of the night. i wake up itchy in my crotch area the it works it way north and south. Quit seeing my allergist, not just because he was a queer Indian but because he couldnt help me. Wish there was a pill.
