We have a problem with definition of terms. First and I’d argue foremost, you assign anyone who doesn’t agree with you to “the Left”. Others here are worse; we are “commies” according to them. It’d be funny, but it’s kinda scary, TBH. I think many/most of you don’t realize how far you moved, politically, in the last several years. I watched it happen with dismay, but no mistake, it did happen. At any rate, just because someone is to YOUR left, does not mean they subscribe to “THE Left”. You could be solidly in the Center and be far to left of most here. Correct? That’s not because we are leftists, nor did “we” change. “You” did.

I’m not aiming that specifically at you, goalie. I didn’t/haven’t paid any attention to you specifically throughout this. I’m speaking more broadly.

So we’d need to nail some terms down. It’s not an easy conversation (I’ve tried numerous times over the years). The Right has some real blind spots, some glaring contradictions as far as what they say vs. what they do. In other words, I’m unlikely to accept your definition of “the Right” as currently comprised. I’m also unlikely to accept your definition of “the Left” as ‘splained above.
