I started off with using Bushnell scopes on my rifles, 300 win mag and my 375 H&H and have never had an issue, with either scope chief or banners, as a lark I took off the bushnell low power from the Sako 375 and put a Tasco world class 1.75-5x20 on it to see what would happen and now over 400 rounds it is still going, so hard to say what might be best.
"The 375HH is the greatest level of power you can get for the investment in recoil." (JJHack) 79s and losttrail, biggest waste of air.

I prefer older fixed power Leupold M8 series scopes. Have a M8 6x on a 7mm Rem Mag and a M8 3x on .338 Win Mag for years with no issues. This. I run M8 6x on my hunting rifles. 30.06, 7 mag, 7x57, 25-284, and 338-06 and have never had a problem.

FWIW, I have a Swarovski Z6 1x6 Extended Eye Relief scope on a custom 375 Ruger rifle and it is perfect for that rifle. No issues with reliability or anything else, it just works.
