I remember when you could do bull in the ring at football practice. I loved that drill, especially when a fat fuuuck was in the middle. He couldn’t get back up very quickly.

I miss dodgeball too, bam, right in the face. I loved high school .

Yep. Dodgeball was awesome!!!

Can you imagine the meltdown some snowflake parents would have if they allowed that today. ? 🤠

My uncle that was 10 years older than me had a Cushman Scooter he used for his paper route. Learned to drive a “motorcycle” on that ole thing. I remember my GrandDad chewing his ass out for letting me ride it. 🤠

Started me on a long journey of dirt bikes and motorcycles when I was a kid. All the way to my final bike, a Kawasaki KZ 1000. That was a fast sob. Finally sold it after losing way to many friends to motorcycle crashes.

Tetherball poles stuck in a concrete filled tire.

Rubber cup darts shot from guns.

Hay bales with wire on them. The plastic strings now hardly last a year in our sunlight when used to lash something down. Bailing wire lasted generations!

I dang sure don’t miss the days of hauling square bales with bailing wire.
Repaired many miles of barbed wire fence with bailing wire when I was a kid. GrandDad had a barn full of spare bailing wire. Never threw anything away, of course, as most farmers and ranchers that survived the Great Depression.

I’ve still got some of those old Prince Albert cans that were GrandDad’s. And several of his pipes.
Bought a new bag of it once and tried it out in one of his old pipes that was still new in the box. It’s actually not half bad. 🤠

Remember dudes putting taps on their shoes? Some guys went all out with horse shoe taps. Lots of schools banned them, for a number of reasons.

How much lighter is a three "wire" bale now that the wire is plastic?

I just get straw/hay by the small bales for chicken yard litter and some for garden mulch.

I don't notice any difference than "the old days"

"Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men, The Shadow Knows" The old radio dramas were fun to listen to as reruns in the 60s.

I have spent years searching for an activity stupider than tetherball. To date I have failed to do so.

If you had a TV I know what you shot with those darts.
