I remember,, Manners,respect, drinking ice tea out of 1# folgers coffee cans, quart jars for adults pint jars for kids, sitting in the yard with papaw after we mowed, sitting around the picnic table after granny fixed lunch for the hay crew, straw under the fingernails while handling sqaure bales, the tv getting turned off at dinner time, going outside so granmaw could have her half hour of prayer after lunch, I remember the 1st in house air conditiioner i ever seen, the 1st black person i ever seen, i was 16 an we followed him around walmart like hounds,,, carrying guns on the school bus, keeping them in our locker(till senior yr when we had to leave em in our truck or principles office, lots of things,,
