Dog food in the U.S. is allowed to contain diseased animals, euthanized dogs and cats, partially decomposed animals, etc. Canadian dog foods fall under the same health scrutiny as people food. Just sayin'.
Back in HS we held a yearly fundraiser for a local charity. 3 days nonstop softball game, all sorts of other stuff. Back then in the 80's it was a lot fo dare stuff to raise money: Ellie will shave her head if you donate $250! Ed and Bob will mud wrestle in suits if you raise $80 bucks... Bob and Mike will eat dogfood if we get another $100 in the nex hour.
That sort of thing. Good teen fun, adult sponsored. Couldnt happen anymore.
But yeah, every year there was a dogfood eating race. who easts the most in x minutes sort of thing.
My brother won 2 years in a row. Said it was like hash. No better, no worse.
Wet, not dry. Dry is nothin. I've chewed on the biscuits hiking when hungry.

I ate lots of dog food(chuck wagon was my fav) as a kid. Later, i took milk bone dig biscuits on a hunt for trail food. I guess it's hard to digest because i had the most incredible gas imaginable. I had to ride home in the bed of the truck and it was my truck.
I've eaten bags of COB over the years, horse pellets, calf manna... most undigestible stuff. I eat lots of acorns, deer corn- guy's gotta be one with nature
