What are you holding out for? Obviously an early rifle bull of some sort with that total but curious if you had a unit in mind ...

23 North and 10 early rifle

I knew 23 would be a long shot but thought 10 was doable just not enough tags for a NR!

Thanks all. I don't win anything. Ever. Until now.

It's a once in two lifetimes tag at this stage of the point game....

Antler growth might be astounding, moon phase lines up. Gonna be a long 6 months.....

Yea my buddy and I drove over to kingman 6 years ago for the class, the online class sure made it extra easy for a point and added to the point creep issues!

Crazy you didn't draw 10 this year. You are right there. Some out of the blue guys likely entered the runnings this year due to conditions with a bunch of points.

Part of the deal when trying to draw some of the best elk hunts available , congrats on getting your dream tag it should be over the top hunting, my hunting partner drew 23 late rfle and killed a real nice bull hunting with Greg Krogh

Greg, brother, you are a deer hunter. You don't know crap about elk. This is a hunt of a lifetime. Please do your research. There is plenty of info in this Elk sub-forum. You need a 300 WBY. No need to risk it on this hunt of a lifetime. Take note of what Governor's tag holders use. Be like them.

Antlerless. Still thrilled to be out during the rut. Gonna try out my "new" 1903 Springfield 9.3x62.
