So, we're up 31 cents per litre, on regular gas.
That's .31 x 3.78 ='s $1.17 rise per USG, in under 2 weeks !!

The folks that were already struggling and having to scrape up $5 or $10 for gas to get to work and back are really in trouble now. At least most of us can get by but there are a lot of payday to payday poor folks out there. I see them all the time buying 2 or 3 gallons of gas, got to where I can spot them. A lot of them are young white women.

Passing the extra cost directly to my customers for jobs. This would be a good summer to make home improvements a priority.

I guess this is the way Biden pushes everyone into electric vehicles. WAY MORE THAN ELECTRIC CARS... Fishermen won't fish... if the cost of fuel exceeds the narrow profit they make catching fish. Dump truck driver told me yesterday that he is parking his truck. GC I know will no longer give free estimates. Home builder I know says he can't give a final cost quote anymore... every house is T&M + P&O... Nobody can get a loan like that. Logger I know can't afford to log unless the log buyers pay a higher rate (like $18 for a 2x4 stud... higher rate... or $75 for OSB higher rate). The margins for business are so narrow... inflation (and fuel) cuts so deep it is terminal FOR MANY. This is WAY WAY bigger than gas... and EVs. I am not a farmer, so I cannot speak to that, but I do know Round-Up is ending so yields will be way down... and I heard fertilizer is a real mess... so another blow to yields. If this happens food will become expensive... or rationed.

I drove from Lakeway Texas yesterday to Denton. Gas was $3.99 to 4.09 at Buccees (love the Beaver). I saw diesel as high as $5.14.

The school district I worked for runs 1300 buses daily. I wonder how this will affect them?? Some are natural gas, but mostly diesel

Don't worry about the high gas prices. They won't stay here when the economy crashes. Still just shy of $4.00 a gallon, here, unless you pay in pre-1965 dimes, quarters, or half dollars. Then gas is only about twenty cents a gallon, just like it was back before 1965.
