Pro tip: Picking up 2 dozen bean and cheese burritos when on a road trip in the uber van w/ the wife, kids and dogs can become a great travel game. Challenge the 3 boys to a farting contest and lock the windows. It will become a family legend to be talked about for years to come and is much appreciated by the wife and daughter.

I go first:
Arby’s. I'd have to say Arby's... just because I don't do Taco Hell....period !

Haven't been to a Taco Bell since they discontinued the Enchirito and the Bell Beefer Supreme sometime early 90's.
Don't ever remember going to an Arbys. I make my own, regularly. There is a small chain here that about duplicates the original Taco Bell. https://tacocasatexas.com/taco-casa-menu/

Don't know why but we seldom go to Arby's. We do hit Taco Bell from time to time.

Arby's, but only their Market Fresh sandwiches.
Used to like Taco Bell, worked there in college, but they have upped the sugar in everything till their food is icky to my taste. In the late 60's we cooked real pinto beans for our refried beans and ground beef at each Taco Bell store. Don't know how they do it now, but it all tastes like sweet goop with different textures.

Do you know if that carried into the 70s?

avoid both these days. But never had any issues with Arby in the day. TB is another thing, never did like their food, so never ate a lot of it, but last times was quesadillas and no issues there. Likely been 5 plus years TB and 15 plus Arby so I'd imagine things could have gone either way.

Neither give me the Hershey Squirts.
But Arby's beats Taco Bell by a huge margin. Love the 3 Pepper, Arby's sauce, and Horsey sauce.

Arby’s. Either one! I get upset anytime I think about the money I'm spending and what I get for my hardearned dollars. I just don't eat at fast food joints. When the wife and me travel, we normally stop at grocery stores or WalMart and hit up the produce section and maybe some crackers to snack on.
