Good job on the reshaping and finish. The wood grain on the 223 is really nice. I sold mine many years ago. Wish I had it back.

Mart,

I have really consider installing the express type rear sight but I’m not sure if it would kinda screw me in the end since I would like to use this gun mostly for plinking with whatever ammo I can find. If after shooting it with a variety of ammo they mostly shoot to the same point of aim at 50 yards I will probably install an express rear with one fixed and one folding leaf.

If all the ammo shoots radically different then I’ll just stick to the adjustable rear
