My assumption is the inlet is different and maybe they receive their stock in either short or long anything different would be considered custom.

I just want to add to the Alamo fan club. Great price, delivered on time (mostly), good communication and rifles shoot and function….
Been almost a year since my last build which I provided all the parts except the stock. Took about 7-8 weeks…👍
Just this week been thinking about another build but can’t decide what chambering as I have about all that are good…..
Leaning 284 even though I have one already on a T3 action / Hawkhill #2…Chambered by Shaen….
But as for me and my house we will serve the Lord. Joshua 24:15

They built me a Maverick 300 Weatherby on a Defiance action and I have a Nightforce NXS 5.5-22x50 mounted in low NF rings and the bolt clears. I haven't shot it yet

I have no first-hand experience with their rifles but I've visited their site a number of times to check out the ready-to-ship rifles (and guns that have sold).
I had them quote a rifle for me a year or two ago and they were refreshingly responsive.
Nearly all of the more handy packages have been about 4-6oz north of 7lbs but the Maverick Light should open up a lot of possibilities for you. Did you order one?
