I'm looking for a new sight for my bow and am open to suggestions. I'm currently using a Cobra Sidewinder. Awesome sight, great fiber optics, but noisy and only 3 pins.
I'm considering one of the new Trophy Ridge Matrix 5 pin (steel pin) models or a Spot-Hogg?
Any pros and/or cons of these brands?
Which models of the Spot-Hogg's are better or worse? I know the higher end sights of their's are pricey. Are they that much better for hunting than the lower end ones?

I use the new matrix steel-pin and really like it. I modify them so that my 20 yd pin is green. I also modifiy the site so only my 20 yd. pin illuminates for night hunting.

Spot Hogg makes a great sight. If you are not set on the verticle pins like the TR has, I would look at the Copper John sight first and then the Spot Hogg. All three are good sights, it boils down to personal preference.

I have both sights and I prefer the spot hog. It's a better sight and it's a lot stronger. IMO <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
