The hiking gun thread got me thinking. I've always wanted one so... Plus, it'll get me by the bland purchase of the 365

Very nice Jorge! Should make a great walking gun.

Nice. I was eyeballing one a few weeks ago. I ended up with a Smith M65.

Same one I got. I found that the speed loaders for the older King Cobra won’t work.

Thanks. I'm on a notebook computer with a tiny screen. Couldn't see that. But now that I put my face right up to the screen, I can barely make it out.

That is a very nice revolver Jorge. How do you like the balance of the new Colt King Cobra with the 3" barrel? I have a Colt Magnum Carry which is older but very similar and has a 2" barrel. For carry ammunition I recommend Remington 357 magnum Remington 125 grain Golden Sabre or 357 magnum Speer 135 grain Gold Dot Short Barrel. Both loads are medium velocity and will be very controllable out of your 3" King Cobra. Let us know how it shoots.

It balances very nicely and the double and single action are VERY smooth.. For carry ammo, I am carrying the Remingtons.

Is that a Colt Magnum Carry? Slight thread drift here; but, my biggest sale of a gun regret is having sold my Magnum Carry.
