Need rains to hit anymore places after these finds today.
Probably walked about 3 miles total on 2 fields.
New house plateau field.
And the corner lone low ridge field.
Find of the day to me was that small drill, it was actually a double ended one but one side broke off.
Never found one that small

The big ole clunker on the right would been cool as heck if the point wasn't broke off it.

Would have liked to have found that long tip intact as a blade.

Cool finds, My mind always drifts to who ever the person was that knocked the chips off of those stones. I doubt the whiners lasted to long in those days.

I've never hunted arrowheads and know ZERO about them. How did such a concentration of them get in that area?
Really hot hunting spot, or an accumulation of many years? I'm just amazed at the number you find.

All we ever find on the farm is wore out grinding rock bases and the hand stone.

Did find a receiver of a single shot shotgun south of the house.

This place was on the way to Palo Duro canyon and it must have been the dump.

About 2 miles from here there is a wallow that had natural spring water filling the water hole.

The buffalo sure changed the landscape there.
