Didn't the guy who got drunk and shot the Alaskian pipeline use a .338 win mag to poke a hole in it?
Yup.

BTW, there's no "i" in Alaskan. wink

You may color me 'skeptical'.....

The stream seems awfully thick, even for a 1/2" hole..........

And the hole/shot seems to have been made spot on, in both the vertical and horizontal to produce that stream, straight out with little distortion.....

I don't have an education in Fluid Dynamics, but it just seems a bit perfect.

IDK

Not to mention that that shot would have had to be angled upwards, with the relative issues that causes.

Looks like at least a 20mm hole. Maybe drilled by a tower climber.

Aiming for Male genitalia. Gotta be a 6.5 Creed.

At least that's what I have learned here over the years.

A 6.5 Creed would have punched out the other side.

Nah, a 6.5 Creedmoor would have entered through the back door, as it were.

Town I grew up in was about 1000 people. Sometime around 1980 there was a party at a house by the water tower. Somebody got drunk and shot the tower like that.
I heard it was a 30-06, but it sure sprung a leak just the same. The city saw no humor.

Barnes, and pick one.

They say everything happens for a reason.
For me that reason is usually because I've made some bad decisions that I need to pay for.
