I can’t say. I have had them out 1 day, am planning on heading out again tomorrow. Field flattening by whatever the definition, hasn’t ever been an aspect of note in my optic perception.
Rolling ball is another term I have got no idea what it is. I use the glass for looking at stuff a long ways off and how clear and sharp an image is, determines their value to me… +1 👍
But as for me and my house we will serve the Lord. Joshua 24:15 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Phil. 4:13
I DON'T NEED A WSM AS I HAVE A WEATHERBY!

Shrap, any further observations on the optical qualities, the laser, and the distance display?

I’ve had them out several times, I am not really impressed.
If I keep them, I won’t get rid of my Swarovski NL Pure 8X32 binoculars.
The delay for the rangefinder is a couple seconds, I don’t like that at all.
I called Hamilton at Leica and he said there is no way to speed up the range finding mode, it takes 2 seconds to warm up.
They are smaller than my Swarovski 10X42 EL rangefinding binoculars, I need a side by side comparison to see what I will keep and what I will let go…

Does the Geovid Pro give angle corrected yardage in scan mode? I use that feature bowhunting all the time on my Leupold RF, verifying yardage mainly....as I never trust a single range. And I agree, the Leica delay sucks...my hand held Leupold is instantaneous.
Does the Geovid Pro give the line of sight distance before the the angle corrected yardage 2.5 seconds later? My Leica Rangefinder does and it is a waste of time for a mountain bowhunter.
