Good question. It hadn’t occurred to me, but how do you measure that kind of speed? Especially at a distance of 12 million light years distance?
Actually, this is one of the things which keeps me from believing in extraterrestrial visitors.
The number of stars and galaxies and planetary systems is astronomical. It’s really sorta silly to assume we are the only species to develop an advanced society. (If you can consider us advanced)
But the distances involved for interstellar flight makes it very highly unlikely that anybody is watching us.
At 12 million light years, you can bet that if there was a ship capable of that speed, it has long since ceased to exist.

Face Book notified me that they had to remove some posting of mine that had something to do with suicide or some such. Since there's no way to ask the all mighty about what the heck they are talking about, it's my opinion this is their way of attempting to intimidate me.
