Lee Crimping die.
Remove the carbide ring when desiring bullets to stay at .430,.431, etc. or you'll resize back down. I keep seeing this repeated on forums, but I've never experienced this myself. I use the Lee FCD and the Lee Collet for crimping 44mag and they absolutely DO NOT size the bullet. **A carbide sizer inside the Carbide Factory Crimp die post-sizes the cartridge while it is crimped so every round will positively chamber freely with factory like dependability. ** Must be for a different cartridge.

I seat and crimp in one operation in an RCBS seating die. In over 40 years I’ve never seen a problem.

If I’m looking for the most accuracy possible….I seat and crimp in separate operations. If only for plinking purposes…..one step! memtb

I seat and crimp in one operation in an RCBS seating die. In over 40 years I’ve never seen a problem. ^^^^This. And I only crimp my .44 mag and .357 mag bullets, which I do on a separate RCBS seat die than the one that I use for the .44 and .38 spl bullets. For my .44 spl, .45 acp, .38 spl, or 9 mm bullets. I have another RCBS seat die set only to remove the flair of the case mouth.
