A couple of days ago I was passing through Mora and stopped in at the “new” Dollar store to get milk. While standing in line to checkout a guy in a USFS shirt got in line a couple spots behind me and became engaged in conversation with another customer.
They started talking about the cause of the HP/CC fire and everyone in line and the cashier got real quiet and swiveled to look and listen.
The USFS guy’s eyes got real big and he started stammering that he knew people here were pissed and upset with the USFS but he was from Montana and had just got here and it was a different USFS group that started the (HP) fire. He was worried about getting tarred and feathered!
People here would like to have a face to face discussion with the person(s) that made the decision to start the HP burn!
