If they are not gone, Natchez had these in stock. I haven’t seen these anywhere for months.

I got some .375 270 grain TSX bullets from Midway about a month ago. I don't know that I'll use them for my upcoming Africa trip though, because I need to take some solids too and although 300 grain TSX shoot almost exactly to the same POI as the solids, the 270's POI is several inches higher.

Indeed shows every rifle is it's own animal, i shoot the same charge of RL-17 with the 270gr TSX's as i do with the 300gr partitions and BBW #13 solids, they all land into around an inch and a half circle at 100, mainly use the two 300gr loads, had some extra TSX's and loaded them with a new bag of R-P 375 H&H brass i had, my PH's couldn't say enough good things about them on everything from Steinbok to Cape Buffalo, i asked about Hippo, he said, "sure thing, bust em in or behind shoulder or shoot em in the head, they will die quickly," guess Ele, or Rhino where huntable would be all that's left out.

Not African use, but those 270 grain TSX do perform outstanding on moose. They have been consistently accurate in the few 375’s that I hand-load them for.

I use them loaded with RL-15 in my .375 H&H. They shoot tiny groups. It's my do anything African load. Will handle any critter from a Duiker to a Cape Buffalo.

I started using CFE223 using Speer 375 H&H data. Went to max and then reduced to get a little over 2700. Perfect.

What do you plan on shooting with them?

I use them in my .375 Rem Ultra Mag. They're a good bullet but expensive here in Aus. I have not seen them over here for quite a while now, although if I looked hard enough I'm sure I could find some.

I used to shoot the Barnes 235BT in my .375. They are far more accurate in my model 70 than the 270 gr. Unfortunately, Barnes no longer makes the 235 gr. with a boat tail, they're flat base now. The 235's worked great on Moose and Elk for me.

I usually prefer the ttsx especially in the smaller calibers because they expend more reliably. With the larger higher recoiling calibers I prefer the plain tsx better because it doesn't get smashed and broken tips. The die punches used to form the hollow points in the larger bullets hold up longer so the bullets tend to expand more reliably in larger diameters.
I was looking at a buff hunt when covid hit and wanted a 416 ruger but my guide and friend told me just bring my 375 ruger with 270 tsxs loaded fast but not too hot. It runs them about 2800 but on my plains game hint I used 260 accubonds at 2860 for 5 one shot kills. My friend was a game Ranger in Kruger for years and has personally taken 27 buffaloes. He usually used a 458 Lott or 460 Weatherby but has nothing but good to say about the 270 tsx in a 375.

I used a 270gr LRX on a black bear on May 11th. Believe it or not, it over penetrated.

I've used them a lot out of my 375 H&H. Shot a 10+ brown bear with em a couple years back. Shot was hard quartering towards me, hit in front shoulder and penetrated all the way to the rear hip. Recovered bullet was bulging under the hide and was perfectly mushroomed with near 100% weight retention.

If anyone is looking for the 270 grain TSXs, Midway has them in stock at the moment.
Going to give them a try in the 375 RUM.
Still no sign of the Swift A-Frames.

These 270 TSX’s with H4350 in my 375 was one of the most accurate loads of any in the cartridges I’ve had rifles for. Would regularly shoot < .75” groups for 3 shots at a 100, and some < .5”. Load was ~ 2700 fps. This was with a Leupold 1, 3/4-6x With the Heavy Duplex. Took ten PG all with pass-throughs except a big mare zebra and a waterbuck that took the bullet after it hit a twig in front of the animal, and went in sideways. Both were under the off-side hide. Zebra — I have a photo of the other somewhere.
