Melvin’s twin brother lives in my nightstand. Their nerdy brother is a 2” M15 and he hangs around here too.

M642 or M60. The M60 is always loaded with the FBI load - 158gr swchp. The M642 with that load or sometimes with 148gr wadcutters.

What kind of bullets are loaded in your 38 S&W rounds? That’s a nice little I-frame.

S&W 638 in my jacket pocket when on the motorcycle. When I get off, it goes in the pants pocket in a Mika holster.

I carry a 360 pd with 38 loads sometimes but I usually load a rem 125g golden Saber 357 load that is factory downloaded to just above 38 +p levels.

I bought a 38 ruger lcr fir my wife to carry walking the dog when the neighbors pit bulls were running the neighborhood. She almost refuses to carry but when she does I load it with Federal 130g hst hps and send her with a speedloader with Remington 38 +p 125g golden sabers.

The hst is a great load but loaded down flat with the case mouth and harder to reload quickly under pressure. That's why she gets rems for the reload.

I just cast a bunch of 148g Lee tumble lube wadcutters. I powdercoated them so now I need to see how they shoot. I also have about 3000 speer swaged 158g hp swc bullets I need to expansion test. I'm trying to duplicate the old fbi load with them.

Rimrock 125gr bullets. I also have some 145gr hollowpoints, but not from Rimrock.

I carry a S&W 642 often and load with Underwood 150 gr. wadcutter hard cast at 850 fps from a 2" barrel. Occasionally I pack my 4" M15 and usually it is loaded with 158 gr. SWC over 5.5 gr. of Unique.

I often carry a S&W 442. Sam Andrews pocket holster. 140 grain LSWCHP over 4756 powder. Two speed strips in a leather pouch, just in case.

I've got an old Rossi 3" snubby I carry sometimes, but rarely. It's an older gun, and it can easily be mistaken for a Smith 36. It shoots well enough, I've popped some prairie dogs with it, but I don't really care to trust it much. I'll keep it around, as it belonged to my late brother, (he carried it a LOT). It is fun to shoot, but so is my own stuff. I keep it around for a house gun, mostly.
