Only infants and imbeciles put ketchup on their eggs. The only proper way is with mustard. The more obscure the brand and the more heavily laden with spice, the better.

Nope, but really like hot sauce on them.

My son would probably agree with you on the mustard if he liked eggs. He puts mustard on everything.

I am glad that he does what he likes. My post was to correlate eggs with hot dogs and the way that people are not allowed to dress them as they please.

I am not a fan of eggs and the only way I will eat them is when they are doctor'd via Mexico. Fried, scrambled, hard boiled, etc., nope.

Acceptable Ketchup use...

Kids: on everything

Adults: French fries.

And here I was thinking a 12 year-old is able to decide what they like on their eggs or anything else.

As a kid, I always put Ketchup on my scrambled eggs.

As I grew older, I gravitated to hot sauce or salsa.

Salsa or hot sauce on my eggs, on occasion. Never ketchup.

Ketchup (with roasted bell peppers and sriracha) as a topping for meat loaf and very occasionally on fries.

Other that that, regular "Thursday is liver night" dinners as a kid cured me of ketchup on much of anything. Only way I could gag that schidt down.

Screw ketchup.

But I love hot sauce on scrambled eggs.
Crystal, Frank's, Red Devil, etc.

Not so much Tabasco. Hot, but dull tasting. OK in a bloody Mary I guess.
