I have fooled with trying to eliminate hogs around my hunting lease tactics ranging from day and night hunting them to trying to rig gravity feeders ergonomically to be hog proof to sharp and sticky things to torment feeding pigs. All of this while resisting the idea of a feeder pen. long story short I installed a feeder pen recently with some 25" stock panels and the deer went right over them. to my surprise a few pigs did as well but only young fit ones that was say approx. 70-120lbs . so i regrouped with 35" hog panels and "wa-lah" . Now if I can deal with the coons . Corn is going to be outrageous this year and non target animals eating are unacceptable. I am probably have to weight on trapping season to place dog proof coon traps around my feeder. Does any body have a solution for squirrels? I'm not really wanting to shoot around my feeder.

Why don’t you just stop feeding corn? The pigs move on after a few weeks if there is no corn.

@leadfeather,
First off, try as you might. You're not going to "get rid" of the hogs. Fact, pure and simple. A friend of mine spent thousands of dollars and heaven only knows how much money surrounding his farm with hog wire. He eliminated a huge portion of the problem, but a few still get through. Kill 'em, back track and patch their entry point. ...but even then, it's an ongoing battle. All he did was tilt the odds in his favor.
As for the coons and squirrels? Gimme a break! You'd have better luck going swimming and not getting wet! I've had bluejays big as vultures spend an afternoon hauling corn away from my feeder. LOL! It is what it is. As Festus used to tell Marshall Dillon, "Cain't be did, Matthew!"

You can’t defeat pigs, killed hundreds on our lease. They move in from the property around us. Saw a Solid white piglet last time I was there. Caught His moma, don’t know if the piglets will survive.

RockinbBar had a really good answer to this a while back for catching large amounts of hogs.

If you are feeding corn to the Deer to improve the Deer herd you are wasting your money, corn has almost no food value for deer, protein will do a lot more for the deer, you will have pigs where ever there is food and water, but you will never get rid of all the pigs, by shooting or trapping. take away all food and water and they will leave, and so will every thing else. As stated, hogs are there to stay unless you take RIO7 advice.
I made a home-made blind out of the fence-curtain stuff, pop-up blinds don't last very long when left out for months. Set it back a mere 20 yards, and comfortable chair/snacks/drink makes for an enjoyable day outside. Run a wire between two trees, hang a few cans of cheap jack-mackeral wired to the wire 6'' off the ground with a small hole so coons can get their little paw in there and get a taste. 1 -2 days later >coons galore, hit one w/a broadhead or 22lr hp and others don't go far. If you wound one and it starts squalling others will attack it > just keep shooting them. I got 5 back to back shots one time.
I shot coons with my bow, loved the practice, bought a suppressor and another CZ 22lr, sub-sonic ammo for squirrels/crows/coons. Killed 17 squirrels, 2-3 coons, couple crows in 2 days one time. Packing up to leave and thought yep that put a stop to it, nope more squirrels at the feeder but I had already put my rifle in the truck. They never stop coming.

And I'd bet you can set traps without waiting on trapping season. If critters ''damaging'' you can take care of them.

Call me crazy, but hogs don’t bother me. Now, I don’t feed corn but we have a schit load of hogs from time to time. They tend to move in and move out following whatever they’re eating that time of year. But I haven’t noticed any problems with our deer or deer numbers cause by hogs at all.

I usually don't mind them terribly either, at least not like I do the damned black bears. As my place is mostly upland and borders some big bottomland areas, our hogs tend to leave for the fall to chase the acorn crop. We still kill a few at the beginning and end of deer season, but they are fairly scarce during November, which helps. They've been hitting our hayfield lately. Got this pic today.
Now with even more aplomb
