Yes sir. I have that stock. I’m always on the lookout for a rifle with enough goodness to put it on. If I remember right it’s got a nice LOP as well that should be slick. I’d like a 300 set up like Gunners with a peep.

Good deal Big B, BSA had a hell of a McMillan syn stock on the 375 he sold me, my retarded ass wouldn't go there, i tried LOL, hope you find the right 300 H&H or rechambered 300 WBY for peep sight shooting, it's a blast and makes anything with a scope cake shooting.

I’ve still got this ol Lyman and that stock waiting for the correct rifle to show up.

I tried the Lyman on the 270 but I needed a new front sight, so I said to heck with it and just scoped it.

The next one I’ll make it all work together.

And yessir, the action itself acts as a wedge to split the wood on every firing, screws against the holes are even worse, a pre-wedge splitter if you will, i put them to sleep making them ineffective only holding the pieces together.

Good stuff gunner ol buddy.

Sweet rifle. I agree. A peep sighted featherweight at 6.5 pounds is like magic. I just wish my left eye was better. I'd have some set up exactly like that..
